Antique French Faience Platter

About
Elevate your space with this striking, grand-scale antique French faience platter. Hand-painted in France during the 19th century, this oversized piece perfectly embodies the rustic, soulful charm of provincial European pottery. This features a traditional milky white tin glaze, serving as a bright, expansive canvas for a lively arrangement of hand-painted motifs. The brushwork plays beautifully across its gently sloped surface, showcasing stylized floral elements, scrolling tendrils, and abstract flourishes in vibrant cobalt blue, ochre yellow, and rich mauve tones.

With its generous diameter and beautifully shallow, bowl-like profile, this versatile piece offers endless styling potential. It makes an incredible, high-character statement layered on a gallery wall, standing in built-in cabinetry, or acting as an expansive centerpiece table bowl to cradle seasonal florals and a favorite candle.
